By creating an account and using GotIt, all users, students and tutors agree to abide by this Academic Integrity Policy and the GotIt Terms of Use.

Students using GotIt must not: • Request or engage tutors for completing assignments, projects, reports, or academic work intended to be done by them. • Seek assistance for writing essays, research papers, dissertations, or other academic submissions. • Ask tutors to take or assist in exams, quizzes, tests (online/offline, open-book, or take-home) on their behalf. • Obtain direct answers to assignments or study guides instead of learning concepts. • Request tutors to conduct data analysis, programming, or project work in violation of institutional guidelines. • Engage in any other activity that contravenes academic honesty policies of schools, colleges, universities, or workplaces.

Tutors using GotIt must not: • Write, research, or complete academic work for students. • Take, assist in, or provide unauthorized help for exams, quizzes, or tests. • Offer pre-written assignments, solutions, or direct answers to graded coursework. • Perform data analysis, coding, or research work meant to be completed by the student. • Engage in any academic misconduct or unethical practices that violate institutional policies.

GotIt upholds compliance with: • University Grants Commission (UGC) Regulations on plagiarism, academic integrity, and research ethics. • The Indian Penal Code (IPC) & Information Technology (IT) Act, which penalize fraud, misrepresentation, and impersonation in academic settings. • Institutional Disciplinary Policies, as defined by Indian schools, colleges, and universities. • International Academic Integrity Standards, ensuring compliance with ethical practices in India and other similar legal jurisdictions. Any violation of this policy may result in account suspension, permanent ban, and legal action, as applicable under local laws.

GotIt reserves the right to: • Deny, revoke, or limit platform access for any user violating this policy. • Report misconduct to educational institutions or relevant authorities. • Take legal action, including but not limited to cooperation with law enforcement agencies where necessary. Students or tutors found engaging in repeated violations may face permanent blacklisting from GotIt and affiliated platforms.

GotIt promotes skill-building, conceptual understanding, and ethical education. We encourage students to seek guidance, not shortcuts, and tutors to empower learning while upholding integrity and professionalism.
